Anatole Abragam

Anatole Abragam was a French physicist born in 1914 in Griva, Courland Governorate, Russian Empire. His family relocated to France in 1925, where he would go on to pursue a career in physics. Although often associated with the field of astronomy, Abragam's work had a significant impact in a different area of physics.
