Shlomo of Karlin
Disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch and Hasidic rabbi
Shlomo of Karlin was a prominent figure in the Hasidic movement, serving as a disciple of the revered Maggid of Mezeritch. His spiritual guidance was also influenced by Rabbi Aharon the Great of Karlin, with whom he studied and developed his understanding of Jewish mysticism. Following the passing of Rabbi Aharon, Shlomo of Karlin succeeded him as the leader of the Karlin Hasidic dynasty.
