Heather Edelson

Heather Edelson is a politician from the United States, affiliated with the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party. Her career in public service has been marked by representation of various constituencies in the state of Minnesota. Edelson's experience in the legislative branch began with her tenure in the Minnesota House of Representatives, where she served from 2019 to 2024. During this period, she was responsible for representing the interests of District 50A, which encompasses Edina and portions of Hennepin County located in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Following her time in the state house, Edelson transitioned to a new role in local government. In 2024, she was successfully elected to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners, representing the 6th district. As a member of the board, Edelson continues to serve the residents of Hennepin County, working to address the needs and concerns of her constituents. Through her work on the county board, Edelson remains committed to public service and the betterment of her community.
