Hanns Sachs
psiholog austriac
Hanns Sachs was a prominent Austrian psychoanalyst, born in 1881. He played a significant role in the development of psychoanalysis, becoming one of the earliest practitioners in the field. Sachs' work and personal life were closely tied to the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, with whom he formed a strong bond.
As a trusted colleague and friend, Sachs was invited to join Freud's exclusive Secret Committee in 1912, a group comprising six key members. Freud's high regard for Sachs is evident in his description of him as someone in whom he had unlimited confidence, despite their relatively short acquaintance. Through his association with Freud and his own contributions to the field, Sachs left a lasting impact on the world of psychology, passing away in 1947.
