Elliot Willensky

Elliot Willensky was a multifaceted American composer, lyricist, and music producer who made significant contributions to the music industry. One of his notable achievements was writing the song "Got to Be There," which became Michael Jackson's first solo hit. He also collaborated with other prominent artists, including Jermaine Jackson and Whitney Houston, for whom he wrote the duet "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful."
